How does a laser marking machine mark QR codes?

Laser marking machines for marking QR codes is an efficient and precise marking method, widely used in product traceability, anti-counterfeiting and other fields. The following are the detailed steps and methods

1. Use a laser marking machine to automatically generate QR codes
1. Open the marking software: Start the control software of the laser marking machine, such as EZCAD.
2. Create a new text and set the font: In the software, create a new text, set the font to "Barcode Font", and select the "QRCODE" font.
3. Enter content and Apply: Enter the content you need to generate a QR code for in the text box, such as a website address or text information, and click "Apply" to generate the QR code.
4. Adjust QR code parameters: Click on the QR code icon below the font to modify the content within the QR code, set language encoding, dot mode, meta mode, rectangle mode, etc.
5. Set Borders (optional) : If you need to set borders, click "Reverse" and adjust the parameters at the top, left, right, and bottom.

Second, generate a QR code through file import
1. Prepare the QR code content file: Organize the QR code content (such as the website address or text) into an Excel or txt file, with one content per line.
2. Check "Enable Variable Text" : In the marking software, check "Enable Variable Text", click "Add", and select File import to Excel or txt file.
3. Set dynamic QR codes: Through the imported files, dynamic QR codes can be generated, and the file content can be adjusted as needed.

Iii. Adjust the marking parameters
- Power: Depending on the material, the power for metal materials can be adjusted to 60, and for plastic materials, it can be adjusted to 30 or lower.
- Speed: The marking speed for metal materials can be adjusted to 900, and for plastic materials to 1500.
- Frequency: The frequency for metal materials can be selected as 20.

Iv. Precautions
1. Ensure the content is clear and readable: When setting the content of the QR code, make sure the input information is accurate and error-free to generate a clear and readable QR code.
2. Test printing: Before formal production, conduct test printing to check the clarity and readability of the QR code.
3. Regular maintenance of equipment: Laser marking machines require regular maintenance and care to ensure their normal operation and printing quality.

By following the above steps, you can easily use a laser marking machine to print QR codes, achieving efficient marking and traceability of product information.
